Physical description

Lithograph (photographically reduced from earlier edition), most with one or two tint stones from six volumes bound into three entitled 'The Holy Land, Syria, Idumea, Arabia, Egypt & Nubia'. Half bound in red morocco, gilt. Most plates signed, numbered, lettered with title and, variously, 'London Published [day and month of 1855 or 1856] by Day & Son, 17, Gate Street, Lincoln's Inn Fields'.
