The image is signed in the stone 'Charles Buchel', and below this are the words: 'MARTIN HARVEY IN SCARAMOUCHE by RAFAEL SABATINI'

Poster produced to advertise the production of Scaramouche, a play by Rafael Sabatini, which was produced at the Garrick Theatre, 1927, starring John Martin Harvey in the title role. This poster is not printed with a theatre name so was probably used for a tour of the production.
