Object history | The costume was designed by Roger Furse for 7 Pages in Grand Fete de Ballet, arranged by Ninette de Valois for the RAD Production Club, at the Royal Academy of Dancing Ball Grosvenor House on 8 June 1939 and subsequently given in a revised version at the Westminster Theatre on 18 July 1939. The design came to the Museum as part of the Cyril Beaumont Bequest and was probably acquired by him as a possible illustration for his various publications on design and dance. |
