Production | Formerly anonymous, recognized by Dieter Graf as showing the same putti, differently arranged, as a sheet in the Kunstmuseum Dusseldrof (FP.10762). As he pointed out in a letter the studies are for the altarpiece of the Virgin and Child with St Anne in S. Francisco a Ripa, Rome. Our drawing is probaly a copy. |
