Length of screen printed cotton with a blue and beige seventeenth-century scene, apparently after an engraving, of two groups of resting hunters with dogs and of anglers. They sit by some classical ruins with a lake in the back and some dwellings in the mountainous distance. An architectural piece towards the left selvedge has the inscription ' R IONES OLD FORD ', on two other pieces it says ' R IONES & C (...) 1769 '
There is a label on the back, giving the title. Both selvedges are preserved but contain no text. The other edges are pinked. The fabric is yellowed and stained in places.
