Physical description

Sample of screen printed cotton with a geometric linear design in beige, pink and purple on orange ground.
Three edges are pinked, the cardboard sleeve is glued to the fourth. A typed label on it reads ' THE TEXTILE COUNCIL Furnishing Print "COLOURTRON" from Warner's 'Programmed Pattern' Range - produced for November 1967 Eddie Squires, Warner & Sons Ltd., Mappin House, 4, Winsley Street, Oxford Street, London, W1N 0AS '.
This is the same design as the nine colourways T.954:1 to :9-2000. On their selvedge, the collection is described as "Warner's Studio Range" and "'Stereoscopic Screenprint" is only mentioned.
