Physical description

Box and lid of porcelain. Depressed globular form, painted in underglaze cobalt blue with a peach-tree laden with fruit with branches twisted into the form of the character Shou (longevity); branches of the same tree occupy panels ranged round the shoulder of the cover and the side of the box.
