Fabric sample of a cotton-linen fabric with cardboard sleeve. It is printed with two meandering tendrils with leaves and fruit. They frame a spray of large leaves, which sprout from a crown-like motif. The decoration is dark yellow on a dark red ground.
Three edges are pinked, the cardboard sleeve is glued to the fourth. A typed label on it reads ' THE TEXTILE COUNCIL Furnishing Print "UCELLO" from Warner's 'Renaissance' Range-produced for November 1964 Eddie Squires, Warner & Sons Ltd., Mappin House, 4, Winsley Street, Oxford Street, London, W1N 0AS '
