Thickly made jar with cut, flat, unglazed base, rounded shoulders and domed lid with large blue knob. Decorated in strong style with garden scene of bowls and vases of fruit and flowers, banana palms and rocks. Floral sprays round neck, fruit sprays on lid. Deep and light blue, scaling-wax red, two shades green, pale yellow, aubergine and black.

Physical description
Thickly made jar with cut, flat, unglazed base, rounded shoulders and domed lid with large blue knob. Decorated in strong style with garden scene of bowls and vases of fruit and flowers, banana palms and rocks. Floral sprays round neck, fruit sprays on lid. Deep and light blue, scaling-wax red, two shades green, pale yellow, aubergine and black.
