Dish of porcelain, with decoration painted in underglaze blue and in enamel colours. Round the rim are scrolled leafy stems in green and red, with heads of lingzhi in blue, yellow and green; among the stems are eight variants of the character shou (longevity). In the centre is a mountain garden. On the left, Shou Lao in blue holding a branch of lingzhi resembling a ruyi-sceptre and seated on a rock; behind him an attendant carrying a staff. In front of Shou Lao are the Eight Immortals. In the garden are also a crane and a deer. Under the rim are eight sprays of flowers in blue, with other flowers painted over them in red, green and brown enamels.
