Large porcelain dish, painted in underglaze blue, overglaze polychrome enamels of the famille verte palette and gold with the arms of Dutry with Reneu in pretence. Round the well is a band with four cartouches containing precious emblems on a ground of scrollwork in red and gold, scattered with lotus blooms, and round the rim flower sprays of peony and prunus, with a cell diaper border round the outside; on the reverse are four flower sprays in red.
Arms of Dutry: blazoned Azure a golden stirrup between three estoiles of the second, with Reneu of Bordeaux (and later London) in pretence, Or a chevron gules, in chief tow doves proper respecting each other, in base a serpent nowed argent, on a chief gules three sinister wings argent, all on a framed shield.
