Beaker vase (one of a pair) of porcelain, painted with two upright ogival panels containing landscape scenes, with in between four smaller ogival panels and sprays of peony. The ground is embellished with a continuous raised stippled effect of dots of white enamel. Round the foot is a band of dot pattern with superimposed gilded key-fret, and inside the mouthrim a flower diaper enhanced with gold. The peony sprays, border panels and small details of the overall decoration are also highlighted in gold.
