Ewer of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue. Body pear-shaped with flattened sides, on each of which is a panel of lotus-petal outline in slight relief painted with lotus flowers on branching stems. Short flaring neck with a border of vertical leaves. Loop handle with small ring at the top for attachment of a metal chain to secure the cover (missing); long curved spout painted with scrolls.
