Portable brazier, enamelled copper painted in colours. Four-lobed, oval shape, consisting of a body or basket with a double handle shaped to and folding over the sides, a cover (A) pierced with a swastika diaper, and an inner receptacle (B) for fuel. The body is painted outside with four compartments, two showing deer in a landscape, two mandarin ducks among lotuses on a river, in reserve against a turquoise blue enamel ground painted with flowers and foliage. Chinese flowers also on the rim of the lid.
