Vase of porcelain, cylindrical, the shoulder tapering to a short, narrow waisted neck with small mouth, the lip ground down. Painted in blue round the sides with a scene of lovers in a garden: the girl dances with frond and lotus stem close to her lover, among rocks under bamboo and banana, with a table bearing a lute and a vase nearby. Round the neck are growing peonies and butterflies.
