Porcelain vase of double-gourd shape. The lower part of the body is a depressed globe, and above this the upper globe is terminated by a fairly wide mouth. The base is flat and unglazed. Painted in underglaze red with flowering lotus scroll bands on both the upper and lower lobes of the vase. Above each is a ruyi frieze; below the upper design is a petal border, and above the foot one of the 'lotus-panels'.
