Physical description
Vase of porcelain. Square base, high shoulder. Black ground. Painted in three shades of green, yellow, manganese-purple and red. On each side, a plum-tree and birds. On the shoulder at each corner a ruyi head. On the neck, two plum-trees and birds. The base unglazed, except for an inset square which contains the mark.
