Basket and lid of porcelain. In the form of a spoutless kettle with openwork sides and cover. Painted with overglaze enamels in the famille jaune palette. On the sides six panels each containing a peony; above, wave and plum diaper in red. On the lid, peonies and a knob in the shape of a lion. Arched handle painted to imitate plaited bamboo.
