Ewer and lid of porcelain. Bulbous body with four lobed sides, long neck with onion mouth, spout in the shape of the head and neck of a phoenix, and domed cover. Painted with overglaze enamels in the famille verte palette. On each side is a panel with one of the flowers of the Four Seasons and others of brocade diaper. Above and below similar flower and diaper panels.

Physical description
Ewer and lid of porcelain. Bulbous body with four lobed sides, long neck with onion mouth, spout in the shape of the head and neck of a phoenix, and domed cover. Painted with overglaze enamels in the famille verte palette. On each side is a panel with one of the flowers of the Four Seasons and others of brocade diaper. Above and below similar flower and diaper panels.
