Physical description
Vase of porcelain. Of baluster form. Dark blue ground with decoration outlined in slight relief and filled in with green, manganese-purple, yellow and turquoise blue glazes. Round the middle two figures beneath a pine-tree on a terrace, with a boy attendant carrying a lute. Round the shoulder are large ruyi shaped lappets enclosing lotus sprays, with pendent jewels between. Lingzhi fungus designs on the neck. Panels round the foot.
