In the middle, in a small circular panel, hare and a female Daoist figure carrying a ruyi sceptre; on either side, lobed and scrolled panels with peonies and foliage and borders of trellis diaper in red line; between the panels qilins in pink and blue, one on each side, and lotus flowers, on a yellow ground diapered with greyish black scrolled foliage.
