Jar of grey stoneware, covered with a crackled brown glaze. Semi-ovoid body marked with pronounced horizontal ridges, sharply curved shoulder, wide flanged mouth, the upper surface of which has been ground down.
From the Shaowu Sidu kilns in Fujian. Similar jars found in Taiwan. Originally a white ware, this one under-fired.
