Dish with rounded sides rising and everted at the lip; low tapering foot. Inside on the bottom surrounded by a double ring in blue, is a design of a rising dragon and descending phoenix among cloud motives with a flaming pearl in the centre, executed in the late Ming 'five-colour' (wucai) style. A single blue ring encircles the rim inside and outside, and there are further rings at the foot.
