Dish of flat saucer shape rounded at the rim, and heavily potted, with low edge-shaped foot and recessed, glazed base, some kiln grit adhering to the footrim. The bluish glaze is speckled inside with gritty imperfections. Painted inside in a purplish-grey blue is a design of a long-tailed bird beside a plant and rock, with a blue line round the rim.
