Made in imitation of one of the early 18th century 'peachbloom' forms, as a vase with tall trumpet neck and tapering base section which is unglazed, to be supported in a tall wooden stand. Well potted, but fairly thick-bodied. Glazed with a 'peach bloom' copper red glaze. Inside the base is a six-character apocryphal mark of Kangxi (1662-1722) in underglaze blue.

The base is made of light wood such as pine and stained and varished to a dark, hardwood colour
