Full length female figure wearing low cut off the shoulder chalky blue bodice, with protruding white blouse at front, the short sleeves edged with pale pink ribbon tied in a bow; the bodice is pointed at centre front and the sides extending over the hips, edged with a bold square cut white band with blue lines, which continues around the bodice point, down centre front forming a decorative apron decorated with blue lines. The bell shaped skirt is washed in pale rose pink, the left side held up to reveal frilled white underskirts. On the head is a broad brimmed 'Watteau' hat in chalky blue with pale rose pink ribbon with tails. Pen and ink, watercolour and gouache.
