vase of porcelain decorated in underglaze blue. Bulbous body with short narrow neck and cup-shaped top. The neck has a collar covered with brown coffee-coloured glaze. Round the rim, a dotted border, on the cup, flowers and stems repeated below the collar. Round the shoulders, a band of ruyi heads. The body is fashioned in twelve narrow, vertical panels with growing peonies in blue.
