Netsuke of a Nô dancer’s cap, with a mask (torikabuto) and a branch of plum blossoms wrapped in paper, in carved and stained wood with black and red lacquer. The netsuke is provided with one hole (himotôshi) for attaching the cord on one side, together with a natural opening in the design.
