Full stage showing elaborate Gothic set with, left foreground, a male figure facing upstage towards, under a Gothic arch at centre back, a female figure in classical tutu. A guard with a spear stands either side of the central triple arch, and to the far right, beneath a bold transparent canopy is a double throne surmounted by a crown. Signed D. Ristic. Pen and ink and gouache. Mounted on page from illustrated programme and inscribed with dedication to Cyril Beaumont, signed and dated: D Ristich (sic), Londres 1952.

The drawing may have originally been part of the London Archives of the Dance; the Archives never achieved an independent home and part of the collection was stored with Cyril Beaumont, where it became inextricably mixed with his own collection and came to the Museum as part of the Cyril Beaumont Bequest.
