Physical description

Bamboo vase, flat-sided on a rectangular base, metal core with bamboo veneer, carved on the flat sides with kui dragons and squared scrolling in pierced openwork, curved sides decorated with handles in the form of ivory applique lion masks, and the raised squared mouth bound with an ivory rim.
