Buddhist priest’s robe (kesa) of traditional patched style. The silk has a satin weave ground, with predominantly white, blue and gold patterning wefts forming the design of bands of different roundels. Six additional patches at the four corners and centre top have a smaller scale design of flower sprays within squares in gold on a red satin ground.
