Cut Model piece for Part II Scene 2 "Dr. Marshall's Drawing Room, 1916" in "A Sleeping Clergyman". The scene, painted predominately in black, grey and purple depicts the interior of a room. To the left is an alcove with curtained windows, a table and pot plants. To the right are two paintings, a chair, and a corner cabinet displaying ceramics.

This Set design by Anthony Holland is part of an extensive collection of designs donated to the Theatre Museum by the artist in 1996. The model piece was executed for a production of James Bridie's play "A Sleeping Clergyman" at the Criterion Theatre, June 19th, 1947. The play was produced by H. K. Ayliff.
