Physical description
Cut Model piece for Part II Scene 4 & 5 "The Hotel Paradise, Northumberland Avenue, converted into the Walker Institute, 19-" in "A Sleeping Clergyman". The scene, painted mainly in grey, blue and black depicts an interior with elaborate columns and cut windows. At the centre is a framed map of London fixed to a pair of columns.

This Model piece by Anthony Holland is part of an extensive collection of designs donated to the Theatre Museum by the artist in 1996. The model piece was executed for a production of James Bridie's play "A Sleeping Clergyman" at the Criterion Theatre, June 19th, 1947. The play was produced by H. K. Ayliff.
