This Costume design by Anthony Holland is part of an extensive collection of designs donated to the Theatre Museum by the artist in 1996. The design was executed for a production of the ice show "The Sleeping Beauty On Ice" at the Empire Pool, Wembley, December 16th, 1972. The show was directed and produced by Gerald Palmer, and choreographed by Reg Park. The music was adapted from Tchaikovsky's ballet "The Sleeping Beauty", and was orchestrated by Arthur Wilkinson, Roy Lowe, and Leslie Kerrigan. The book and lyrics were by Stanley Lloyd.

Physical description
Costume design for Four Lilies in the Flower ballet of "The Sleeping Beauty On Ice". The design depicts a full length female figure with arms outstretched. The figure wears a stylised costume representing a lily. The costume consists of a green bodice; a short orange net over skirt shaped like flower petals; and an irregular wired green underskirt shaped like leaves. The costume is completed with an elaborate head dress or hat representing a large orange lily flower and three black stamens. Blue paint has been applied around the figure. A fabric swatch has been stapled to the upper left hand corner.
