Object history | This Costume design by Anthony Holland is part of an extensive collection of designs donated to the Theatre Museum by the artist in 1996. The design was executed for a production of Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari's opera "The School for Fathers" (I Quatro Rusteghi) at Sadler's Wells, July 22nd, 1976. The opera's text is based on the play "I Rusteghi" by Carlo Goldoni, and was adapted for these performances by Edward J. Dent. The production was produced by Malcolm Fraser and conducted by James Robertson. |
