Circular covered box with fitted inner tray. Bowl rests on 6 short feet.
Green, gold and black on a red ground.
Interior of the bowl and tray is red
The bowl is encircled with the traditional let-taik let-kya pattern (alternating figures and buildings). In this case the figures are balus (ogres). This pattern also decorates the top of the lid and a balu figure within a circular band of fine lines is the central design on the base of the inner tray.
The balus are dressed in Konbaung court costume.
On the base of the circular box bands of fine lines against a foliate ground encircle the central motif meik-tha the ram (Aries) and each of the short feet.
