Poster

1999
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

Poster on gloss finish card featuring a photograph of the three sisters in Memory of Water as children jumping joyously in the air, in the long grass by the sea. The background at the top of the poster is an image of shimmering blue and white water, darkening to a blue sky backdrop to the leaping girls halfway down the poster. The title 'The Memory of Water' shimmers as if reflected in the water, in blood red lettering at the top of the poster, surrounded by the production credits in blue lettering. Red lettering picks out the words 'Wild Humour' from the Daily Telegraph quote: 'Wild humour and bruising emotion' and the name of the theatre at the top of the poster, with a quote from the critic Michael Coveney in yellow lettering. The name and location of the theatre appear in blue lettering below the image.
