Panel of painted silk, part of a frieze and is landscape in shape, is designed with trees, shrubs, etc. growing from grassy hillocks. In the centre is a blue vase filled with chrysanthemums. To the right is a cock pheasant, to the left a hen. To the right a citrus-tree in flower has an orange vase pendant; to the left a persimmon-tree with a violet vase pendant. Birds and butterflies are scattered over the background. There is a border along the bottom of violet arabesques. The main colours used are crimson, green, dark blue, violet and yellow. The background is white.
