Picture panel of red wool embroidered with coloured silks in satin and stem stitches and knots in blues, white and pink. At the bottom are sprays of flowers, two butterflies and rocks from which grows a tree peony. At the top left hand side is an inscription below which a crane is flying.

At the top is a band of black serge on which is embroidered a spray of pomegranate plant and above this, a narrow band of red serge.
