Embroidered temple hanging panel of green silk damask brocaded with silver thread and embroidered with floss silks, silk cords and metal thread in laid and couched work and some long and short stitching. Parts of the design are padded and there is a little applied black velvet.
A large figure of one of 18 Buddhist Lonans or Arhats sits by a pool with a fly-whisk in his hand.
The panel is bordered with a narrow band of silk patterned with flowers and a wide band of damask, patterned with birds and trees.
