Physical description

Surcoat of plain dark satin. Front opening with five gilt buttons, lined with pale blue silk.

On the front and back are applied mandarin squares of black satin embroidered entirely with couched gold thread. The squares are embroidered with golden pheasants, denoting a civil official of the 2nd rank.
