Straw sole with an orange-red velvet upper in the shape of a V to go between the first two toes
Length (base of sole): 18cm
Fairly good condition
This is one of a pair-the other is unmarked but could be T.230-1917”

According to the book Shoes-A History from Sandals to Sneakers, this sandals is also known as "zori" woven from straw, bamboo bark, or other materials, as opposed to "geta" which is always made of wood.
