Textile fragment of painted and dyed cotton, probably from a petticoat. The border design is composed of a wide rococo band with scrolling edges which supports three alternating flower sprays. A garland of small flowers, fruits and leaves is suspended below it. Along the bottom edge is a selvage and a blue band. Red, blue and purple on a white ground.

Physical description
Textile fragment of painted and dyed cotton, probably from a petticoat. The border design is composed of a wide rococo band with scrolling edges which supports three alternating flower sprays.
