Coverlet of painted cotton. In the centre of the field there is an octagonal medallion composed of highly conventionalised floral motives. Similar conventional flowers are depicted in urns at each corner of the coverlet. The remainder of the field is freely interspersed with mixed flowers and foliage, including pineapples. The surviving colours are mainly red and blue on a white ground.
