The compartments are framed by borders of continuous scrolling stems and flowerheads in red, blue-green and gold on a silver ground with a red, blue and gold rosette at each intersection. A broad border of elaborated continuous scrolling stems, foliage and flowerheads with a parrot at the top and bottom of each loop in blue-green and red with gold and yellow on a silver ground, enclosing the design framed with guard borders with stem and flowerhead motif similar to the ogival compartments, but on a yellow ground.
