Cover, mordant-dyed and block printed cotton bed or floor cover, with hand painting, the field has an abstract, circular floral design within a quatrefoil lattice. The borders are abstract rows of buta and trailing plants, between narrower borders of flower and chevron designs. The hems also have a deep band of repeated flowering plants within architectural niches. The colours are predominantly red and green with some yellow and blue. Complete piece.
