Physical description

Floor cloth or cover, block printed, mordant-dyed and hand painted cotton, the field is predominantly red with a lattice of star-shaped and medallion-shaped motifs, the borders have rows of peacocks with floral meanders on either side and a geometric design in red, yellow and green around the edge.
