Textile of cotton batik. Dyed using the wax-resist process. The field is patterned with a closely-packed repeated and stylised floral design (semen) in red and black on a blue ground. The border ornament is of a blue undulating stem with red flowers on a cream and natural ground. On either side of this border is another ornament, resembling the swastika (bandji). In each of the corners is a cream square decorated with a blue and red rosette-type motif. Surrounding this is a blue band patterned with geometric designs. Around the whole head-cloth is an imitation fringe.
