A typical south India Umamaheshvara, cast in the "ganga-yamuna" technique, the flesh areas in dark copper metals and jewellery and costume in lighter brass. As usual sits in the lalitasana pose with his right leg hanging down and the smaller Parvati sitting on his left knee. He holds an axe and antelope in his upper hands. Little wear but good dark under-base colour.
