Costume designed by Jean Hugo for one of three Spanish women in the opening section of the ballet 'c.1830', choreographed by Geoffrey Cauley, and performed to Liszt's Autre Guitare: 'Comment'disaiient' at the London Coliseum 22 June 1971.
The ballet formed part of the programme of the gala Répétition Générale for The Greatest Show on Earth, organised by Richard Buckle in aid of the Save the Titian Fund and the Museum of Theatre Arts (now part of The Theatre Museum).
The costume was made by Mme de Rachelle and the costumes for 'c.1830' were sponsored by John Player and Sons.
Hugo's design for this costume is reproduced on the inside cover of the programme
